Yes Man acts as a wild card in the conflict for control of the Mojave Wasteland, and should the player choose to ally with him, Yes Man can be used to pursue a totally independent route to the top. This led to the creation of Yes Man, a completely complicit securitron who is more than happy to divulge all the information he knows to whoever may ask. One of these securitrons was damaged in a firefight and was found by a group of survivors that were looking to discover all of Mr. House has an army of securitron droids to enforce his rule and keep the streets in control.
